Paul has been a firm fixture on the UK house music scene for over a decade with an un mistakable ear for great music and sound technical ability. Morrell began his DJing career at the young age of 14 in his home town of Coventry, playing a mixture of trance and house, at clubs such as The Planet, Ikon, Crazy Daisy’s and The Foundry this led on to working alongside the club scene DJing A List including Tall Paul, Judge Jules and Lisa Lashes.
He soon became a regular face at clubs such as Ministry of Sound (London), Progress (Derby), Judgement Sunday (Ibiza), Passion and Storm (Coalville). He has also performed for brands including Cream, Gatecrasher, Sundissential, Godskitchen and Polysexual. Performed to capacity crowds at The Gallery @ Ministry of Sound (London) supporting Armin Van Buuren, Don Diablo and Oakenfold, as well as also supporting huge pop acts including Example, Katy B, Connor Maynard & Ms Dynamite. In recent times he has been collaborating with top writers Kelli Leigh (Duke Dumont, James Hype), Laura White (Galantis and Rudimental), Amanda Wilson (Avicci) and now the unmistakeable Janice Robinson of Livin’ Joy.
Paul has had his own releases on Kidology, New State, Perfecto, Somn’thing Records, Positiva and Hot Source.
NEW FOR 2019
Out March 15th Paul’s EP via Perfecto Records hits all platforms. The massive instrumental tracks ready for the club!
Recent remixes include via Atlantic Records superstar Kelly Clarkson newest single, ‘Heat’. The record hit the Number 1 spot on the Billboard Dance Charts in March.
Paul’s other new single for 2019 is, ‘My Kinda Man’ featuring the legend that is Inaya Day. The single saw its full release on February 25th via Vamos Music with remixes from Ricky Montana, Haipa, Juloboy, Maurizio Basiltotta and Francesco Diaz.
Ava Max remix
Out on Atlantic records Paul’s official remix for the UK Number One single by Ava Max, ‘Sweet but Psycho’ has hit over 2 million in streams on Spotify since release, the record has now achieved platinum status.
